Description: In 1996, an informal collaboration was initiated between Project Zero, in the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and the Royal Danish School of Educational Studies (RDSES). Called “GoodWork,” the project is a study of socially responsible creativity and leadership. This collaboration has resulted in various interesting preliminary insights that are now being examined in greater depth through a formalized collaboration between our institutions and the other partner institutions in the GoodWork® Project: Harvard, Stanford, and Claremont Graduate University. There are no definitive findings in this paper, but rather a reflection on the value of a cross-cultural comparison, and how we might gain a deeper understanding of GoodWork® when we compare Denmark, Latvia, and the United States.
